Clinic Escort Training

NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri invites you to help protect choice by becoming a clinic escort. Clinic escorts are pro-choice volunteers, trained to guide women and their companions past anti-choice protestors who congregate outside abortion clinics. These volunteers act as a physical barrier between women and protestors, as well as provide emotional support to women as they exercise their right to safe, legal abortion. Often women must walk past or through crowds of 40 or more protestors just to reach the clinic doors. Help us send a powerful message to these anti-choice protesters that we will stand up to protect the rights of women! Join us the afternoon of July 18 from 2-4 pm at the NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri offices for a Clinic Escort Training and Information Session. Clinic escort volunteer coordinator Debra Knox Deiermann will conduct the training. Clinic escorts must complete a training session before they are allowed to escort.
