The Access Project will sponsor a Town Hall Series
The NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri Foundation is pleased to report that we have been awarded a grant to sponsor town hall meetings on reproductive health disparities in three locations across the state (St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield). The town hall meetings will enlighten people—activists, legislators, public health advocates, providers, and average citizens—about the connections between the disparities in access to reproductive health and political, social and economic factors. In conjunction with the town hall meetings we will be enlisting the aid of our CAT teams to help coordinate a “Day of Activism” to activate interested community members. We are excited to announce that we have already secured a number of panelists from: the Alliance for the Status of Missouri Women, a statewide literacy organization called LIFT and the Missouri Family Planning Council. Stay tuned to the website for opportunities to get involved!
