Anti-Choice Bills
 
Abortion Restrictions (2009)
Changes the laws regarding the consent requirements for obtaining an abortion and criminalizes abortion under certain circumstances.
 
Anti-FOCA Resolution (2009)
Declare's Missouri's sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment and urges the United State Congress to reject the Federal Freedom of Choice Act, which prohibits restrictions on abortion access.
 
Criminal Prosecution of Pregnant Drug Addicts (2009)
This act allows criminal charges to be filed against a woman for use of illicit drugs during pregnancy, regardless of the woman's knowledge of her pregnancy.
 
Denying Minors' Access to Reproductive Healthcare (2009)
The proposed constitutional amendment would deny minors the right to obtain contraceptives and would eliminate the judicial-bypass option for minor females seeking abortion care.
 
Pharmcy "Conscience" Refusal (2009)
Specifies that pharmacies will be immune from liability for refusing to dispense birth control. Also falsely classifies emergency contraception as an abortifacient.
 
Self Incrimination for Doctors Performing Abortions (2009)
Expands the requirements for reports made to the state by abortion care providers regarding patients.
 
Pro-Choice Bills
 
Compassionate Assistance for Rape Emergencies (2009)
This act provides that hospitals and health care facilities are required to do the following:
 
1) Provide each sexual assault victim with medically and factually accurate information about emergency contraception;

2) Orally inform each victim that emergency contraception may be provided at the hospital;

3) Provide the complete regimen of emergency contraception immediately to the victim who requests it; and

4) Follow the Department of Justice protocols on HIV/STI screening and prophylactic treatment.
 
Duty of Pharmacists to Fill Prescriptions (2009)
This act requires all pharmacists and pharmacy employees to fill all valid, legally written prescriptions without delay.
