Emergency Contraception Availability in Missouri
In the summer of 2007, our volunteers conducted a survey of every pharmacy in the state of Missouri which revealed an alarming lack of access to emergency contraception. 150 of the pharmacies surveyed do not stock emergency contraception and refuse to order it. If you need emergency contraception, consult this map to find out where you can obtain it. Red markers represent pharmacies which do not offer emergency contraception. Yellow markers represent pharmacies which do not stock emergency contraception, but are willing to order it. Green markers represent pharmacies which stock emergency contraception.
