Vote Pro-Choice
As in the August primary, NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri PAC led the progressive community in field work and organizing our base for the November general election. We sent out over 10,500 postcards to our members, pro-choice IDs, and other active voters in our targeted districts. We distributed a voter's guide statewide and communicated with thousands of activists through our email alert system, recruiting volunteers for out targeted candidates, even sending our hard-working student volunteers into Barbara Fraser's office one day a week for two months. Most importantly, NARAL's volunteers and staff tirelessly knocked doors all over the St. Louis area this election cycle, making invaluable face-to-face contact with voters. We participated in more than 15 canvasses during September, October, and November, knocking literally hundreds of doors. Our volunteers also made hundreds of GOTV calls the week before the election, educating our membership about which candidates were pro-choice. We covered 9 shifts at the polls on election-day, talking to hundreds of voters on behalf of pro-choice candidates.
