NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri Launches Statewide EC Access Campaign

Posted: 06/27/2005

Emergency Contraception (EC) can prevent pregnancy if accessed up to 120 hours after unprotected intercourse. Unfortunately a recent study of Missouri pharmacies done by the NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri Foundation found that a large number of pharmacists in Missouri refuse to fill women's prescriptions for EC.

The first step in our campaign to make this underutilized contraceptive method more available to women who need it in Missouri is our Pharmacy Access Petition. To help us meet our goal of 5,000 petition signatures, please download and print a copy of this petition and have your friends and family sign. Once completed, you can fax (314.531.8615) or mail (4144 Lindell Blvd, Ste. 505, St. Louis, MO 63108) it back to us c/o Angie Postal, Community Organizer.
