Governor Holden Signs Proclamation Supporting the Right to Choose!
On February 17th, in the midst of the Pro-Choice Rally for Women's Lives at the Capitol, Governor Bob Holden signed a proclamation proclaiming his "committment to the right to choose in Missouri, ensuring women the right to make the decision to prevent, commence, continue, or terminate a pregnancy."
Governor Holden has always been a valliant defender of women's reproductive rights. With an overwhelmingly anti-choice legislature passing dangerous, anti-choice bills every session, Governor Holden has consistantly stood up for women's health, and women's rights by vetoing every anti-choice bill that arrives at his desk.
All pro-choice Missourians should applaude Governor Holden's consistent strength and bravery, and his dedication to protecting the rights of the citizens of Missouri.
